I offer a fully mobile studio with all the necessary lighting, backdrops and posing stool. We will discuss your needs and space, to determine what is best! I also have an available studio space in central Lakeland, as well as ample parking. There are so many beautiful places to shoot outdoors as well. Please plan to talk with me about your specific needs. I do always recommend that for cohesive photos that have the same or similar look, that each person is photographed in the same place.
Executive photography focuses on creating professional headshots and portraits for business leaders, executives, and professionals. It highlights their personal brand, capturing them in a way that aligns with their role and company culture.
Your session will be fairly quick, but it can still be good. We might even get your new favorite picture! Here are a few tips that will help you love your photo:
If you wear glasses, I havetricks, so I won’t make you take them off. But if you don’t need them, choose not to wear them that day (to avoid nose dents). If they are super reflective, I encourage you to not wear them, so we can see your eyes.
Do not wear anything sleeveless. Your amazing arms will still look big to you in a photo, no matter how little they really are.
Ladies, be a little more bold with your makeup. If you think it’s a little much, it’s probably perfect. If you never wear makeup, don’t worry. I will be retouching photos, and imperfections aren’t a thing.
Accessorize!
Avoid large patterns. Solid colors (even a nice bold color), and layers are best. For example, a sweater or dressy jacket over a top, typically looks nice in photos. Or a top with a little character like ruffles or a collar, look better than just a basic scoop neck (unless you are planning to wear a necklace or scarf.
Do not try anything new with your hair that day. Style your hair as close to how you are used to looking as possible.
Sessions typically last between 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the number of photos and outfit changes. More detailed sessions may take longer if multiple locations or styles are involved.
Professional photographers usually retouch the final images to ensure they look polished. This might include adjusting lighting, smoothing out minor imperfections, and making color corrections while still keeping the image natural and authentic. You have to option to select the images that you wish to have edited, and may purchase additional edited images during this process.
Yes, many executive photographers also offer group photos for leadership teams, boards of directors, or staff. These can be arranged in a style that aligns with your company’s branding. I also offer composite group photos, which allows for any changes in the group arrangement or number.
I will guide you on how to pose in a way that exudes confidence, approachability, and professionalism. It’s essential to relax and trust their direction to bring out your best look.
The number of photos depends on the package you select. Typically, you’ll receive a set of edited images via digital download, ready for use on your website, social media, or other business purposes. Each client is offered an option for the photographer's selection, or to select their own. Please discuss your preference at the time of the shoot.
I am always willing and helpful with hair and any makeup touch ups that might be needed. I am always looking and watching for anything that might need fixed or adjusted. I will be honest and helpful, so that each image is nice and neat!
